We Too Are Pet Lovers

As pet parents, we understand what it is like to lose a beloved family member. Mr Sahib Sawhney, the founder of Furry Friends Forever, has been working on this dream project since the age of 18 in order to alter the way animals are treated and cared for in India.

It all began when he and his family went to pay their last respects to their dog, Candy. They had envisioned a proper, respectful funeral service for her as the most valued member of their family.

Instead, what they received was a heart-breaking, undignified push into the fire. That is when Sahib Sawhney decided he had never let anyone else go through such an ordeal, and immediately began working on this cremation project to offer the most humane way of cremation. He has brought this project to life after three years of unremitting effort and dedication. He intends to help not only pets, but also small stray animals that we often overlook. The Pet Crematorium will follow all of the Hindu traditions processes and rituals, which will be carried out with the utmost care and dignity by a Hindu Priest. It is a wonderful, first-of-its-kind project that promises animals the same dignity and respect as people.
