Composition:
Naphazoline hcl 0.05%w/v + menthol 0.005%w/v +camphor 0.01%w/v
+ phenylephrine hci 0.12% w/v +hpmc 0.25% w/v
Indications: Dust, Smoke, Sunglare, Pollen, Photophobia
Dosage: 1-2 drops as required
Key benefits:
- Naphazoline is alpha receptor in the arterioles of the conjuctiva to produce constriction resulting in decrease congestion,
- Blepharospasmphenylephrine is a selective alpha 1 adrenergic receptor agonist used primarily as a decongestant
- An agent to dilate the pupil
- They both in combination provide soothing & cooling effect to the tired eyes
Contraindications:
- It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity
- To any of the ingredients of the preparation.
